Presidential Candidates use a wide range of media genres in their presidential discourse.
During this crunch time of getting points across and showing the world your better than your other opponent the presidential candidates take different approaches. Obama I feel tries very hard to get his audience to feel that the message is to them personally no matter what topic it may be. He has a way of mostly connecting the topic to how the audience will be affected and just using wyas os persuasiveness the make them feel emotinally attched to him and the topic at hand. John on the other hand I feel doesn't use such a way, rather attcks his opponent at any given point and this turns me off completely to tkae most of your time attcking the person than talking about the issues at hand. So obama=personal connection, mccain=personal attacks, and that's the way I see it.
Listed below are some pictures and videos that represent the following genres (news, ads, opinion, advocacy, entertainment, research:ethos, pathos, logos).
